The Tigers of LSU are coming off a complete dismantling of “the #4” team Oklahoma who had no business being in the playoff but it was an impressive game no matter who they were playing. Clemson is coming off the complete opposite type of game LSU played 2 weeks ago, a last second 29-23 win over the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes coming back from a 16-0 deficit in the second quarter Trevor Lawernce led his team to a Semi-final win putting them in the National Championship vs LSU. In the short History of the College Football Playoff the higher ranked team in the National Championship has never won before but this is the year that it changes. Clemson is a very very good football team but this LSU team is playing on a whole different level than anyone else in the country and to top it all off, this game is being played in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, this essentially will be a home game for the Bayou Bengals and we all know how passionate that fan base is. LSU handles Clemson fairly easily but it will still be a close one, LSU Tigers takes home the National Championship by beating the Clemson Tigers by the score of 35-24.
