Make sure to read My Updated CFB Top 10 Week 9 before reading this. Besides one game there was really no good games at all this weekend. Most of the teams in the top 10 were all on bye weeks leaving us with very little to talk about but at least we know this week coming up is going to be filled with huge games. So with that being said, let’s take a look at how my top 10 looks after 10 weeks of college football.
#1 LSU Tigers (8-0)
Last week: Bye
Next week: at #2 Alabama
The Tigers were on a bye this week and take on Alabama in Tuscaloosa next saturday.
#2 Ohio State Buckeyes (8-0)
Last week: Bye
Next week: vs Maryland
The Buckeyes were on a bye this week and face Maryland at home next weekend.
#3 Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0)
Last week: Bye
Next week: vs #1 LSU
The Crimson Tide did not play this week but look to take down the #1 ranked team in LSU next weekend.
#4 Penn State Nittany Lions (8-0)
Last week: Bye
Next week: at #13 Minnesota
Penn State looks to keep rolling by getting another quality win over Minnesota after coming off a bye.
#5 Georgia Bulldogs (7-1)
Last week: 24-17 W vs # 7 Florida
Next week: vs Missouri
The Bulldogs finally get back on track with a nice top 10 win under their belt in hopes of still making a case for the playoffs even after losing to South Carolina.
#6 Clemson Tigers (9-0)
Last week: 59-14 W vs Wofford
Next week: vs NC State
Another win for Clemson over a terrible team and yet still everyone is going to praise Clemson when they play no good teams at all.
#7 Oregon Ducks (8-1)
Last week: 56-24 W at USC
Next week: Bye
The Ducks keep doing what they need to do and that is roll through the PAC-12. If the Ducks can win their conference it’ll be hard to keep them out of the playoffs this year.
#8 Florida Gators (7-2)
Last week: 24-17 L vs #8 Georgia
Next week: vs Vanderbilt
The Gators get their second loss of the year this week which pretty much ends their season in terms of the playoffs. They’ll probably make some sort of good bowl game but nothing too special after another loss.
#9 Oklahoma Sooners (7-1)
Last week: Bye
Next week: vs Iowa State
After coming off a bye the Sooners look to get a win over the Cyclones.
#10 Michigan Wolverines (7-2)
Last week: 38-7 W vs Maryland
Next week: Bye
Its very unfortunate this team has 2 losses already because at their full potential they can be a very good team with lots of upside.
