While conference tournaments started about a week ago for the smaller schools, power conferences tipped off this week. We’re now firmly in the thick of things as the better teams in each conference will be playing their first tournament games today after having byes. March Madness is officially underway and companies all over the nation are about to see their employee production plummet.
Games tip off at 11 a.m. starting with Villanova taking on Providence in the Big East Quarterfinals. At 11:30 we get back to back ACC quarterfinal games with Virginia taking on NC State then Virginia Tech matching up against Florida State. Those are just a couple of the matinee matchups as we get games tipping off all day and through the late night. Buckle up and make sure you’re streaming these games at work, class, etc. instead of actually doing something productive.
I’m going to end this post with a potential sleeper pick to win five of the major conference tournaments. I’m not going to give an explanation of any of the picks so if they end being right I’m right but if they’re wrong you’re wrong. You’re welcome.
