The last college football we watched was Clemson putting a beating on Alabama in the National Championship and as much as I hate to say it but we will probably see the same 2 teams in the Championship again this year. There is 186 days until college football starts up again so what better to do than rank the top teams pretty blindly.
#1 Clemson Tigers
After coming off an undefeated season and a national championship I believe this team will continue their dominance into this season.
#2 Alabama Crimson Tide
Even though they are coming off a national championship loss you can never count Saban and Alabama out and just like every year they will most likely win the SEC and make their way back to the CFB Playoff.
#3 Georgia Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are coming off a terrible loss to Texas in the Sugar Bowl but you can never really judge teams by their bowl game performances if it isn’t a playoff game. Georgia is one of the teams that has a real shot to knock off Alabama in the SEC this year.
#4 Texas Longhorns
Sam Ehlinger and the Longhorns look to make a huge splash this year after coming off a huge win vs Georgia last year. This will be the year Texas is a officially back by winning the Big 12.
#5 Ohio State Buckeyes
The Buckeyes could have easily made the playoffs last year but a terrible loss to Purdue didn’t look to great on their resume. With Justin Fields under center this team will be pretty good this year.
#6 Michigan Wolverines
Michigan will be better than last year with a new OC and the top recruiting class in the B1G TEN. This will be the year where Michigan beats Ohio State. They will finish somewhere in the top 5 at the end of the year.
#7 Florida Gators
The Gators look to be a real contender in the SEC this year. It will be Dan Mullen’s second year at Florida so it will most likely be better than last year.
#8 Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma has been very good the past 2 years with no real competition in the Big 12 but this year Texas will give them some problems. Transfer QB Jalen Hurts will be pretty good under Lincoln Riley but not as good as Kyler or Baker.
#9 Oregon Ducks
The Ducks have a lot of hype coming into this year with star QB Justin Herbert and a very good recruiting class. The Ducks have just acquired a key piece to the offense in Transfer WR Juwan Johnson from Penn State. The Ducks have a real shot at the playoffs this year.
#10 LSU Tigers
The Tigers are a great team with a great coach but it will be a challenge to have a good record while being in the same conference as Florida, Alabama and Georgia. LSU will most likely start and finish around the #10 spot.
