Conference Championship Sunday Preview and Predictions

With the AFC and NFC championships on Sunday after this weekend we will only have one football game left until next season. All 4 teams left are all very good in their own way so any combination for the Super Bowl would look to be a great game. Let’s see how I think this weekends games will end up and who will head to Atlanta in a few weeks.

#1 New Orleans Saints vs #2 Los Angeles Rams

Sunday January 20, 3:05 PM

These 2 teams might have 2 of the best offenses in the league so I would expect a high scoring game although they both have pretty good defenses as well. On November 4th these teams met in New Orleans with the Saints coming out on top in a pretty close game by the score of 45-35. I would expect a very similar game to the one in November but with the NFL you never really know. I believe the Saints come out on top by the score of 38-35.

#1 Kansas City Chiefs vs #2 New England Patriots

Sunday January 20, 6:40 PM

Earlier in the week it looked like this game would be played in below 10 degree weather but it looks like it has warmed up a bit in Kansas City. The weather isn’t really much of an advantage for either team since they are both pretty much cold weather teams. I think this game will most likely be a high scoring game as well since the Chiefs have a very high powered offense and the Patriots have Tom Brady. The Chiefs and Patriots also don’t have the best defense so i think we will see a lot of points on Sunday night. I believe the Patriots will win this game by the score of 27-21.
