Last week after the debacle in Dallas I began to look at 2019 NFL Mock drafts and see which quarterbacks were available. Last night thinking about this game and who the Houston Texans can rush at you with Whitney Mercilus, Jadeveon Clowney and some other guy named J.J Watt I was worried for Eli Manning and his Long term health. For the first time I honestly thought an NFL player was in danger.
A Miracle has occurred though and the Giants season has been saved.
That waste of size, space, and payroll Erek Flowers has been bencheddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chad Wheeler will be replacing him in the starting lineup at right tackle and this decision has not only saved Eli Manning from a early grave it has saved the Giants season. Football is a team game but never in my life have I seen one player so negatively impact a team on a down to down basis. Not only is this addition by subtraction Chad Wheeler actually looked decent when he played last season. I am not saying that he is a future Hall of Famer but as long as it is not Flowers we are better.
I am not even bothering doing a X and O’s for this game, this one is simple Giants win 31-17 and the we take off from here. Bet the house on this one.
