Major NBA trade just three weeks into the NBA season.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Eric Bledsoe has been dealt from the Phoenix Suns to the Bucks.
Bledsoe has only appeared in three games this season for the Suns after he was suspended from the team due to his “I don’t want to be here” tweet.
Bledsoe provides an immediate upgrade for the Bucks and gives the Bucks a second star player next to Giannias Antetokumpo. For those questioning if Bledsoe is really a star, he’s averaged 18.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals as a five year starter for the Suns.
Bledsoe is a great defensive guard and shot fit in perfectly for the type of game the Bucks want to play. This is a big move that can move the Bucks up the Eastern Conference standings.
Bledsoe is still under contract for the 2018-2019 season at $15 million.
It has yet to been reported what the Suns got in return. More information to follow as it comes known.
The Bucks will send Greg Monroe and a first round draft pick to the Suns in return for Bledsoe
