Eric here going to be giving you my favorite 3 betting lines of the day.
Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers (CLE -4.5)
Boston loaded up over the offseason adding Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving and drafting Jayson Tatum but had its casualties as they traded away all-star Isaiah Thomas and Defensive standout Avery Bradley. Cleveland Added a former MVP and Former Finals MVP bad news is Derrick has been pretty awful since his MVP year and Dwayne Wade is 35. The Cavs are the ones that got Isaiah Thomas and he is still recovering from offseason hip surgery and will be out for a while. Lebron has only won 1 season opener since coming back to Cleveland so look for more of that trend to continue as this is probably the worst team he has been on since his last year in Cleveland.
Bet: Celtics +4.5
Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors (GS -9.0)
Golden State had the best Roster in Basketball History last year and only added to it by adding sharp shooting Nick Young and drafting underrated Power Forward Jordan Bell in the 2nd Round who is known to eat Rebounds. The Rockets Added Chris Paul who in Mike D’Antoni’s offense and the pieces they have could average 15 assists. The Rockets are one of 3 teams that looked primed to contend in the West for 2nd place but in the first game 9 points is still a lot.
Bet: Rockets +9.0
Carolina Hurricanes at Edmonton Oilers (Edmonton -126)
Ward vs. Brossoit
Cam Ward is making his first start of the year as the Hurricanes try to break out of a 2 game scoring slump after scoring 5 in the first game. Edmonton who was a sleeper candidate to win is trying to right the ship as they are still missing Leon Draisaitl to an eye injury but 24 year old Laurent Brossoit has looked good in between the pipes so far this and looks to keep a bad offense at bay.
Bet: Edmonton -126
