Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a late-night incident at a Dallas bar Sunday, a source confirmed to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were dispatched to the bar around 9:40 p.m. A 30-year-old man said he was physically assaulted but could not identify who assaulted him. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A Dallas Police spokesperson said no arrests or suspects have been reported in connection with the incident, which was first reported by 105.3 FM The Fan in Dallas. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

An NFL official said the league is aware of the situation involving Elliott and “looking into it to understand the facts.” (Via ESPN.com)

Another day, another Ezekiel Elliot “incident”. If this comes out as true, this is just getting sick and disturbing. I get it, I heard reports that he was defending the girl he was with, allegedly, but I mean come on, do you have that much pride to knock a guy out on his ass? Elliott is arguably the best running back in the NFL already, and he’s only 22. The Cowboys have a great team, a great roster, they are the most well known organization in all of sports, so when you play for the Cowboys and you go out in public, cameras will be there. If you’re Ezekiel Elliott and you know the NFL is already investigating you, how the hell do you not grab your girl, grab your driver and just walk out of the damn bar. Swallow your pride and do the right thing for yourself, your teammates and your team.

This is not the only incident Elliott has had in his one year in the NFL. Like stated before he is being investigated by the NFL for domestic violence and on ST. Patrick’s day there was a video of him pulling a girls shirt down after she insisted for him to not touch her. I understand he’s 22, but when is it time to grow up and start acting like a human being and an employee for the Dallas Cowboys? I mean, with all the arrests the Cowboys have had recently, I guess he’s fitting in just fine.

But I beg the question: Can you imagine if Odell did all of this? What if Odell was accused of domestic violence? Or breaking a guys nose in a bar? Or pulling a girls shirt down when she clearly didn’t want to be touched? Odell would literally be suspended for an entire year.

Why does Odell Beckham Jr get so much hate for caring about football so much when guys like Ezekiel Elliot are committing crimes and they get praised for their on the field efforts?

What has Odell Beckham Jr done so bad in his NFL career? Missed VOLUNTARY workouts? Went on a boat a WEEK before a playoff game with all the other receivers? Punched a wall after one of the most devastating losses of his life? I mean if those 3 headlines are worse than Zeke’s this is a sad, sad world.

If I asked someone who knew nothing about the NFL or the players at hand which headlines are worse, 100% of the people would say Zeke and no one would say Odell. But since everyone hates Odell because he is statistically the best receiver in the NFL the last 3 years, and they’re jealous of him because he’s 24 years old who has the world by the balls, people will continue to hate Odell over Zeke and it’s kind of sick.

If you’re going to hate Odell, hate his game. Try and find a flaw. Don’t try and tear down the person. The person is a good man. If you’re going to hate Elliot, especially if he is guilty of these actions, hate the person, because that is a bad person. The hate Odell should really stop. And if you’re a person who hates Odell but loves Elliott look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself, “I am a fraud.”

Now I present to you the best receiver in the NFL. Enjoy.
