Chase Jeter is returning home!
Sort of at least…
Beginning in the offseason, Jeter announced he was transferring from Duke to return closer to his Las Vegas home.
Tonight, Jeter made it official by committing to the Arizona Wildcats announcing the news via his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Jeter, the former Duke center, appeared in just 48 games in two seasons for the Blue Devils averaging 2.1 points per game and 2.2 rebounds in 10.3 minutes of action.
The sophomore big man suffered from a herniated disk in mid January and missed the rest of the season. Jeter only saw action in 16 games this past season.
Jeter will sit a year due to NCAA transfer rules and will have two years of eligibility for Sean Miller and the Wildcats beginning for the 2018-2019 season.
Hopefully, the move will be good for the former 5 star recruit back during the 2015 class and will be an impact player going forward for Arizona.
