4 Florida vs 8 Wisconsin
No one really saw this game coming as Villanova looked primed for another long run but they got upset by a good Wisconsin team. This game is going to feature a good dose of veteran presence which might actually help Wisconsin who has a bunch of guy swho have been to 4 straight Sweet 16’s. Look for a back forth game where Florida’s athleticism might take an upper hand but in the end Wisconsin comes out on top.
Prediction: Wisconsin 75 Florida 71
3 Baylor vs 7 South Carolina
Baylor almost lost it to a good USC team so against a very good South Carolina that is fresh off stopping one of the hottest teams in the nation so look for them to try and slow down the best front court in America. Look for Motley to take over the game if he can stay out of foul trouble as Thornewell will have no way to cover him.
Prediction: Baylor 81 South Carolina 73
1 Gonzaga vs 4 West Virginia
Collins gets called for the goaltending, like he should have, I don’t know if Gonzaga is here right now so that being said I think a superior West Virginia who showed no sign of weakness against Notre Dame will be able to handle them with ease.
Prediction: WVU 89 Gonzaga 80
2 Arizona vs 11 Xavier
I hate cheaters so it really pains when I say Alonzo Trier is the unsung hero of Arizona while everyone loves to praise Markkinen. Trier is the one that keeps the offense going. Xavier has gone on a good run but they are right now no match for a far superior Arizona team.
Predictions: 79 Arizona 67 Xavier
1 Kansas vs 4 Purdue
Kansas is the team with the most talent left in the tournament and what other teams like Duke and FSU didn’t have was the leadership Frank Mason brings to the team. Purdue has the best big man in the country in Caleb Swanigan but Landen Lucas might be the only one left who can shut him down.
Prediction: 83 Kansas 71 Purdue
3 Oregon vs 7 Michigan
Dillion Brooks and Tyler Dorsey are going to give it their all so Oregon does not lose before getting to the elite 8. Michigan, I don’t think is ever gonna give up and that’s why there on this miraculous run and honestly have a shot at the elite 8.
Prediction: Michigan 74 Oregon 73
1 UNC vs 4 Butler
Butler is a good team and has showed it by making it to the sweet 16 but they are no match for UNC.
Prediction: 84 UNC 76 Butler
2 Kentucky vs 3 UCLA
Best Match up of the Tournament. When they played earlier in the year the game was electric and went down to the wire. There are probably 10 draft picks that are gonna play in this game and they will show why they are all highly touted.
Prediction: UCLA 98 Kentucky 97
