The New York Jets and free agent Mo Claiborne have agreed to a one year deal worth up to five million dollars.
Ian Rapoport was first to report the deal.
The Jets reportedly offered more money than Dallas in a ‘prove it” year for the former first round section.
Claiborne has had a up and down career hampered by injuries that has prevented him from seeing the field. He has appeared in 47 of the 80 possible games throughout his five year career.
The Jets are thin at corner for this upcoming season, and will present an opportunity for Claiborne to start health pending.
Claiborne has recorded four interceptions in his NFL career.
