Tebow Time?!?!

Tebow Time!!!

When the New York Mets signed Tim Tebow on September 8th (I still can’t believe I’m writing that sentence. What a world) people should’ve saw the glow I had on my face that day. That was literally the best notification to wake up to. The New York Mets signed Tim Tebow. I immediately took out my Tebow Broncos jersey and wore it to class. I was so happy.

But that was months ago. Now Tebow is actually suiting up for the Mets in Spring Training. And I. FREAKING. LOVE. IT.

Everyone bashed him. “Oh he can’t do it”. “He’s a distraction.” “He’s just doing it for publicity.”

Well all the haters can now shut it. Just shut it!!

Tebow is RAKING (well only really today) but the dude was RAKING today.

He’s not here for publicity. He’s not here to make money. He’s not here because he wants the spotlight after his football game. No, Tebow is here to take his at-bats, work hard, and try and make the Mets. Because he has been doing that his entire sports career. Tebow is the hardest working person out there, he’ll do anything to help teammates, he’s the most coachable player in the world and he wants to get better. What in the world is wrong with that?

Tebow has never made any negative headlines. He’s never broken the law. So why do we criticize him? I don’t get it. We live in a world where we praise Kim Kardashian yet bash Tebow? WHAT?!?!

Well fine, you wanna bash him? Go ahead. But you’re going to have a tough time doing it.

So far in Spring Training, Tebow has improved every day. After a horrendous first day when he went 0-4, he just kept grinding and getting better. And baseball is a game of what have you done for me lately.

Well lately, Tebow has had 3 hits in his last 6 at bats, made a diving catch and made a leaping catch as the ball was tailing away. If that ball drops, it’s a double. Oh and on Tebow’s 3rd hit? It can off his bat at 107 MPH. Freaking Rocket!!

No, I’m not saying Tim Tebow will be on the Mets opening day roster. But I am not counting out this man to be on the Mets roster at one point in his career. He’s going to go to the minor leagues, work hard, put his blood, sweat and tears into it because that’s all he knows and he doesn’t care that you’re criticizing him. He’ll prove you wrong.

Mets fans, get ready for Tebow Time. After watching him this spring training, and him improving every day, why the hell not? If there’s a man can do it, it’s Tebow.
