North Carolina uses big second half; cruises past Miami to reach ACC semifinals

North Carolina pulled away early in the second half and never looked back cruising to a 78-53 victory to reach the ACC semifinals.

Led by Isaiah Hick team high 19 points, North Carolina is seeking to return to their third consecutive ACC title game.

They were paced with a balanced offensive attack with four players in double figures and had 21 assists on 28 made field goals.

The team shot 52.8% from the field.

North Carolina played like a team destined to end up in Houston for this years Final Four avenging their  15 point loss on the road to Miami earlier in the season by outscoring the Hurricanes by 20 in the second half.

They now await the winner of Louisville/Duke (ESPN 2:30 p.m) for the semifinal match up.
