Marshall had been released by the Jets last week and rumors began he may look at the crosstown team as a possible destination citing he did not want to relocate his family.
He finished the previous year with 59 receptions for 788 yards and three touchdowns in 15 appearances for the Jets last season.
Marshall now joins Odell Beckham Jr on the outside with Sterling Sheppard handling slot responsibilities as the Giants aim to fix their offense.
No deal can be officially signed until Thursday, March 9th beginning at 4 p.m.
